USEA Area 2 Eventing

Glenda Player, of Playland Farm in Union Bridge, Maryland, is pleased to offer a 10% discount for all USEA members to any of her Anatomy and Biomechanics of Riding Summer Clinics.

Glenda has taught throughout the United State and abroad. She has a unique approach to teaching that enables each rider to perform at their optimal level.

She believes that the horse and rider 'mirror each other,' and therefore focuses attention on rider position and biomechanics to improve the horse's movement and training. She is a student of applied anatomy and biomechanics, and utilizes her continuing education both in her riding and instructing. Glenda particularly enjoys instructing in a clinic format.

A clinic day is split between unmounted activities and riding. 'Unmounted Awareness' is oriented towards achieving a higher awareness of one's own habits and biomechanics, thus aiding each individual rider to a heightened performance once re-mounted. Group sessions allow everyone to learn from each other in a positive and encouraging environment. These are fun and enlightening days!

Summer dates include: June 12, July 17, and August 7 -- all Saturdays. The clinic day runs from 9 am until 4 pm, with lunch provided by Playland Farm. The cost is $125 for the day, which includes a stall with bedding. There is a 10% discount to USEA, PVDA, 4-H and Pony Club members.
