Duc De Moyon is a son of the famous Laudanum xx who descends from one of the best French jumping families. Laudanum xx is a top Jumper sire in France. Dud de Moyon competed in 1.30m and 1.35m jumper courses, and reached the fiansl for 7-year-olds at the 1998 World Championships for Young Horses in Zangersheide/Belgium. Duc de Moyon was campaigned successfully by Jos Lansink of Belgium.

He raced until 9 years of age & came off the track sound & able to continue with a new career. He consistently receives 8's or higher for his gaits in dressage. He is a grandson of Halo & Seattle Slew who have both proven to be great influences in eventing lines & sport horses. His oldest foal, now a 3yo gelding, won at his 1st outing in the Future event horse 2yo division last fall. All of his offspring so far have wonderful gaits. As far as we can tell, he also passes on his easy going temperament and excellent work ethic.
